Jumping Cholla (formerly Defy Tucson) is Tucson's largest trampoline park. Located in northwest Tucson near Sam's Club and the Tucson Mall, the facility is spacious and well-designed for optimal fitness and fun.

Visitors of all ages pay in 60, 90, or 120 minute increments. In addition to general-use jump space, you'll find:

  • Swings
  • Ninja Warrior and Relay Race Courses
  • Dodgeball/Basketball Areas
  • iWall (an interactive and sensor-based gaming experience) ***NEW***
  • Augmented Reality Games: Multiball (where players score points by hitting moving targets) and XR Sport Court (where guests jump on projected characters to score points with their feet)
  • a three story “Soft Play” attraction with one section for 4-12 year olds and a second section for 2-5 year olds ***NEW***

One of the best things about Jumping Cholla is the open design concept which allows parents to easily keep eyes on their children.

What are the hours?

The hours at Jumping Cholla are as follows:

  • Monday-Saturday: 10:00am-9:00pm
  • Sunday: 10:00am-7:00pm

Who typically goes to Club Night? Is it family-friendly or geared more to teens and adults?

Club Night is offered on Friday and Saturday nights between 7:00pm-9:00pm. All events at Jumping Cholla are family-friendly and appropriate for all ages—especially club night, which allows guests to jump for two hours at a special discounted rate.

How much does it cost?

Cost is dependent on your age and if you are visiting on a weekday, weekend, or holiday. See a full breakdown of ticket prices.

Note that all jumpers must wear Jumping Cholla reusable grip socks, which can be purchased for $3.68.

Are there any deal days?

Yes! You can get early bird prices on weekdays (M-F) before 1:00pm.

These special, recurring events may also be of interest to you:

  • HOMESCHOOLERS: Weekdays 11:00am-3:00pm. Last check-in at 2:00pm. $12/$14/$16 for 60/90/120 minutes (*purchase Jumping Cholla grip socks, if needed). Available when TUSD is in session.
  • CLUB NIGHT: Fridays & Saturdays from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
  • FAMILY NIGHT: Families of up to six jumpers get special prices from 5:00pm-9:00pm on Monday evenings.
  • FOSTER CARE FAMILY NIGHT: 1st Tuesday of the month, 6:00pm-9:00pm. $12 for 1 hour. *Purchase Jumping Cholla grip socks, if needed.
  • SPECIAL NEEDS FAMILY NIGHT: 2nd Tuesday of the month, 6:00pm-9:00pm. $12 for 1 hour. One attendant per jumper free.*Purchase Jumping Cholla grip socks, if needed.
  • COLLEGE STUDENT DISCOUNT: $3 off on Thursdays with student ID.

Will I need to sign a liability waiver?

Yes. Every jumper needs to have a signed waiver on file. The fastest and most convenient option is to sign the required form(s) before you arrive. Parents must sign waivers on behalf of minor children. Waivers may be signed online prior to your visit.

How much time should I allot for my visit?

Two hours should be an ample amount of time, but you can always add time if you're having a jumptastic time.

What should I wear?

Wear breathable, comfortable clothing that allows for a good range of motion. Athletic shorts, breathable shirts, stretchy pants, t-shirts, and elastic waists are good options.

Where do I put my shoes? Is there a fee for using the lockers?

Lockers are free to use. Stash your shoes and other belongings in a locker or cubby while you jump.

Is Jumping Cholla air-conditioned?

Yes.

Does music play during open hours at Jumping Cholla? If so, what kind of music?

Yes - music is played at all times and is played at a reasonable volume (thank you, Jumping Cholla!).

Weekday mornings have softer music with more rock & roll later in the day. One thing we love about Jumping Cholla is that they do not condone or play music that may be offensive to customers (eg violence, sex, cursing, etc).

What should I bring with me?

Bring your Jumping Cholla grip socks and a water bottle.

Can visitors bring their grip socks if they already own a pair?

If you have a pair of non-Jumping Cholla trampoline socks, you have the option of trading them in for a pair of Jumping Cholla socks.

Are restrooms available?

Yes.

What are the most and least crowded days of the week to visit Jumping Cholla?

Jumping Cholla is most crowded on holidays, school breaks, and weekends. Weekdays tend to be less crowded.

What dining venues are available on-site?

Jumping Cholla has a snack bar on-site that offers a small selection of snacks (chips, candy, ice cream, ICEEs, Dippin' Dots).

Is outside food permitted?

Outside food is permitted in birthday party rooms (see below), but not on the attraction floor.

Does Jumping Cholla have water bottle filling stations?

Jumpers are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles and may refill them at on-site drinking fountains.

How old do you have to be to jump at Jumping Cholla?

All ages are welcome, but it is recommended that jumpers be at least 2 years old.

Does Jumping Cholla offer a toddler/preschool jumptime? Are there areas in the facility specifically designated for young jumpers?

Jumping Cholla's space includes a variety of attractions and some are more conducive to younger children. For example, Soft Play has an area dedicated to jumpers ages 2-5 years old. In addition, "Parent Jump" is offered on weekdays from 10:00am-1:00pm: one parent jumps free with a paid ticket with each paid jumper who is age 6 years old and under.

Do the restrooms have changing tables?

There is a family restroom that has a changing table.

Are highchairs available for use in the party/dining room areas?

Yes, upon request.

Absolutely! All birthday party packages include:

Weekday and weekend packages are available. You can opt for a package that includes pizza & soda or book a no-food/drink package wherein you can bring in your own cake or other snacks. A freezer is available for frozen goods.
