DESCRIPTION:You can register for lessons 24 hours a day\, 7 days a week from the comfort of your home or any public computer. Simply create an account and you will be all set up to register for the lessons when registration opens. Please contact Jodi Layton at 520-724-5171 for program information. \nRegistration will begin in May 2026: \nOnline registration opens for sessions 1 & 2 on May 12\, 2026 at 6:00 A.M.\, Arizona time. \nOnline registration opens for sessions 3 & 4 on June 16\, 2026 at 6:00 A.M.\, Arizona time. \nRegistration ends at midnight on the Wednesday before the start of each session. Due to program capacity\, all pools limit total registration. If you have not created an account with the new online registration system\, you will need to do that first. On mobile\, you will need to tap the three lines on the upper left to access Create Account. \n"In order to provide as many opportunities as possible for the children in our communities\, we are limiting participants to one time slot per session." \nPools: \n\nAjo Pool\nCatalina Pool\nFlowing Wells Pool\nKino Pool\nLos Niños Pool\nManzanita Pool\nPicture Rocks Pool\nWade McLean Pool\n\nStarfish Swim Lessons\nGroup swimming lessons for children ages 3½ and up who can participate without parental presence. In groups of 6 or less per instructor\, children will be taught a wide variety of swimming skills depending on which stage they are assigned after the skills assessment on the first day of class. This program focuses on the fundamentals of learning to swim and safety around water. Pima County offers swim stroke development in the form of a novice swim team program.  \nNote: Each child's swimming ability will be assessed on the first day of class of each session and then placed into a stage that will best benefit the child.

DESCRIPTION:To thank the community for its support\, while offering budget-friendly staycation fun for families\, Reid Park Zoo is once again offering its $3 Ticket Tuesdays for 2026. Every Tuesday in June and July daytime admission is $3 per person at the gate. As always\, Zoo members can visit daily for free. \nZoo summer hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Guests are advised to come early when they can see the Zoo and the animals waking up for the day. \nGuests can meet some additions at the Zoo this summer\, including Ndizi (pronounced In-Dee-Zee)\, a male reticulated giraffe calf born in February\, who has been delighting guests with his curious and energetic play. They can unwind with Antonio and Chocolate\, a pair of capybaras who love swimming in their pool in the South American loop. During daily zoo keeper experiences\, guests can get the inside scoop on their favorite animals\, learn about their care\, and see them getting some cool enrichment treats such as ice pops. Kids can get the wiggles out in the World of Play Discovery Zone with its chilly indoor Antarctic ice cave and sensory activities. \nRegular Zoo admission prices are $12.00 for adults ages 15-61\, $10.00 for seniors ages 62 and greater\, $8.50 for children ages 2 to 14\, and free for children under 2.
