September is Grandparents Appreciation Month and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Arizona is hosting a UnitedHealthcare Celebrate Grandparents event on Saturday, September 28, 2024, to celebrate grandparents and the significant role they play in the lives and health of families.
Community organizations will offer no-cost wellness checks and social services information. Families can enjoy live Mariachi music and baile folklórico dances, a DJ, photo booth, and giveaways. Families will leave with fresh produce and grandparents will receive “senior produce bags,” containing healthy foods for home. UnitedHealthcare representatives will also be available to educate attendees about health care coverage.
