The Susan Artemis Quintet at The Century Room

June 18, 2026 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

$19.06

Wouldn’t you like to hear the “Leave it to Beaver” Theme played as a swinging jazz tune? Or a mashup of Vince Guaraldi’s “Christmastime is Here” with “Killer Joe”?

The Susan Artemis Quintet will be playing innovative arrangements of an eclectic mix of tunes -- everything from “Autumn Leaves” in ¾ time to “Home at Last” by Steely Dan to Susan singing “Senor Blues” by Horace Silver, and much more.

A refreshing new take on some jazz standards, original tunes and jazzy arrangements of pop tunes.

Arrangements by Jeff Conrad and Gary Potter:

Jeff Conrad is a trumpet player from Indianapolis who played in The Ray Charles Orchestra and The Harry James Big Band, as well as serving as an arranger for both those ensembles.

Gary Potter was a pianist and professor of composition at University of Indiana.

This is a 16+ event.
