Second SundAZe: Family Day at Tucson Museum of Art

Enjoy a performance by Ballet Rincon’s Youth Ensemble, along with art activities inspired by TMA’s folk art collection. While you’re there, explore the Museum’s newest exhibitions, On the Edge and The West Multiplied, and grab a bite at Café A La C’art.

Performance by Ballet Rincon’s Youth Ensemble

Ballet Rincon is happy to present selections from The Four Seasons. Using excerpts from Italian composer A. Vivaldi’s well-known work, the dancers offer choreography that explores how emotional themes can be embodied through movement texture and musical interpretation.

Art-making Activities

11:00am-2:00pm

Molas- Create your own design using fabric and glue inspired by indigenous women’s clothing from Panama.

Masks- Decorate your own paper mask using markers.

Live Demo painting with artist Western artist Walter Piehl, Jr. Piehl’s work, Handful, is currently on display in the Hamilton gallery.
