To honor our hometown heroes who protect and serve each day, Public Safety Appreciation Day (formally First Responders Day) will be hosted at Reid Park Zoo in partnership with the Erik Hite Foundation on Saturday, September 26.

Public safety personnel, including firefighters, EMTs, law enforcement officers, 911 personnel, and other public safety professionals and up to 5 family members will receive $1 admission each to the Zoo with valid identification. Discount is available at the front entrance.
