Your day at the farm will begin with farm chores and harvesting. You will learn proper harvesting techniques and why it’s important to “eat seasonally." After harvesting, you will wash your fresh produce under the Farm Ramada and then head into the TVF Teaching Kitchen to prepare a delicious farm to table lunch. TVF educators will provide recipes, ingredients, and nutrition information as well as demonstrate proper knife skills and cooking techniques to keep you as safe as possible.
Ages 8-18.
Min 10 students, Max 20 students (youth and adults who harvest, cook, and eat).
