In this beginner level workshop, students will make (2) of their own 4×4″ Pressed Flower coasters using locally harvested flowers.
The workshop will cover the following:
Flower Selection
Background color selection using pre-cut glass
Glass cleaning
Creating your design
Sanding corners of glass
Tacking down flowers
Wrapping projects in copper foil
Finishing with rubber feet
Class fee includes materials for 2 finished pieces and use of tools/equipment. Open to participants aged 18+. Closed-toed shoes are required. When working with glass, there is a chance of getting cut. Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver; please plan to arrive a few minutes early to sign forms.
