Bring the whole family to help TBG celebrate their 50th anniversary with this special event!
"We’ll trace our roots through hands-on botanical art projects from a bygone era and cooking demonstrations using fresh herbs and veggies from our Gardens – just like the Porter family did when they lived here in 'Porterville' in the early 1900’s."
You’ll also get to step back in time with “living history” reenactments of the people who brought the Tucson Botanical Gardens to life. Join a docent-led Historical Tour to learn more about the Porter family and how we became the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Tours start at 10 am, departing from the Cattle Tank every half hour.
