Pima County Human Resources Director Cathy Bohland said that the recent Classification and Compensation study has increased salaries, making Pima County an even more desirable employer for job seekers. Indeed, applications climbed from 2,533 in September 2023 to 3,691 in October and spiked, so far, at 5,504 in January 2024.
Many of the departments that are hiring will have staff members on hand to answer questions.
