Meet at Bear Wallow Trail along North Bear Wallow Road. North Bear Wallow Road is on the right past milepost 22 on Mt. Lemmon Highway (also known as the Catalina Highway or General Hitchcock Highway). Drive 0.4 mile along unpaved North Bear Wallow Road. Meeting point will be well marked.

Walk and explore in the wooded area around Bear Wallow - no more than half a mile.

There are no bathroom facilities in this area and there will be a conversation about using the toilet on the trail. Poop bags, toilet paper, and wipes will be provided, but families will be responsible for packing out their own waste.

(NOTE: Google Maps designates North Bear Wallow Road as Upper East Bear Wallow Road and has you take a right on Mount Bigelow Road after MP 20 to get there. Do NOT do this. This is a lot more driving on dirt roads and the directions are confusing.)
