Custom Tote Bags: Teen/Tween Maker Workshop at Joel D Valdez Main Library

Express yourself through wearable art at the library!

Teens and tweens are invited to design and create their own custom tote bag using a variety of creative techniques, including Cricut iron-on vinyl, stencil painting, puff paint, decorative patches, and more! Want to bedazzle your tote with gems? The library will have gems!

Participants will explore hands-on making in a supportive environment and leave with a unique item they designed themselves.

What’s Included:

Tote bag (while supplies last),

Cricut iron-on vinyl designs,

Fabric-safe paints and stencils,

Assorted patches,

All tools and instruction provided.

Important Information:

No prior experience needed,

Supplies provided by the library,

Participants may bring their own clean fabric tote bag if desired,

Please wear clothing that can get messy,

Projects may need drying time before use.

This program is part of the library’s teen creative and maker programming and is designed to encourage creativity, learning, and self-expression. Ages 11-18
