Pima County’s Community & Workforce Development (CWD) Department is holding a Community Job Fair on April 8, offering job seekers the opportunity to connect with up to 50 employers across multiple industries.
The job fair will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Kino Event Center at 2805 E. Ajo Way.
Job sectors represented include:
Construction
Manufacturing
Health care
Government
Transportation
Aviation
Food industry
Education
Call centers
Warehouses
This marks CWD’s third major community job fair in the past year. The previous two averaged about 500 job seekers.
“These events have been very successful, both for employers and those looking to be hired,” said CWD Deputy Director Rhonda Pina. “We encourage job seekers to bring their resume because we have seen employers do interviews and hire people on the spot.”
