JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa will once again be lighting up the holidays and the Tucson sky with its beloved, annual tree lighting ceremony on Thursday, November 30th, from 4 pm to 7 pm on the resort’s Meecha Lawn. The event is complimentary and open to the public and the resort is encouraging all of those who would like to attend the ceremony, to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Casa de los Ninos.

4:20 -4:30pm Santa and elves arrive to Meecha Lawn / photo opps in the giant sleigh
4:30 – 5:00pm Fun and games with Santa, elves and Tucson Roadrunner Mascot, Dusty, on Meecha Lawn
Giant holiday bin for guests and loccals to donate a new, unwrapped toy for Casa de los Ninos
Hot cocoa and cookies
Carolers on the lawn from 5:00pm – 7:00pm
5:00 - 5:15pm Salud Terrace – pass out tequila in preparation for nightly tequila toast
5:30 pm Alex Oropeza to announce the tequila toast and the legend of Arriba Abajo
5:45 pm Welcome from JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa General Manager Mark Ochoa
5:55 pm Emcee and KVOA Meteorologist Matt Brode invites Santa, the elves and Dusty the Roadrunner to the stage to start the tree lighting countdown
6 pm Tree lighting countdown begins
