Lluis Coloma from Barcelona, Spain and Eric-Jan Overbeek aka Mr. Boogie Woogie, originally from The Netherlands, teamed up for the Hottest Boogie Woogie Show of the Year. Performing solo sets and in tandem, this show also features Tucson’s best rhythm section: Larry Lee Lerma on bass and Ralph Gilmore on drums. Four hands plus two pianos equals lots of fun! That’s what happens when two killer Boogie Woogie piano players team up for what we call a “piano explosion.” Lluis and Eric-Jan have been playing their whole lives and have performed all over the world. Both pianists will perform solo and as a duo, lots of Boogie Woogie as well as some good old New Orleans style Rhythm & Blues.
