Each March, more than 13,000 families visit Tucson Medical Center, Lot 11, for the annual, free children's safety event. In 2023, Be Safe Saturday is March 18, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.

At Be Safe Saturday families can obtain free bike helmets and booster seats. Some 100 community partners are on hand at interactive booths, providing fun health and safety education and demonstrations.

Safe Kids Pima County and the Tucson Police Department offer car seat safety checks while the Pima County Sheriff's Department offers free child ID fingerprinting kits.
