Do you want to learn more about your family history using Ancestry.com? In this course, you will use the Library Edition of Ancestry.com to explore your family tree. This is a free version of Ancestry.com that is available to all library users, but it can only be accessed from one of the library computers (or your laptop when it is connected to the Library's Wi-Fi).
There are millions of records and images available through Ancestry.com. Explore the various search options to locate information about your family. You are strongly encouraged to bring a USB drive to save any documents, images, or pictures you find during your search.
About half of each class session will feature lecture and demonstration of Ancestry.com and the other half class the instructor will be available to assist and direct you with your search results.
This is a two-part course beginning on Wednesday, October 11th (Day One) and concluding on Wednesday, October 18th (Day Two). You are encouraged to attend both sessions.
