Where is Bookmans located?

There are two locations in Tucson -

• EAST: 6230 E. Speedway Blvd. (Speedway & Wilmot)
• RIVER: 4841 N Stone Ave (River/Stone)

The other Arizona locations are in Phoenix, Mesa, and Flagstaff.

How big is each store?

Bookmans East (opened in 2001) is the largest at 27,000 square feet. Bookmans River (Opened 2023) is 22,000 square feet.

Hours?

All stores are open Sun-Thurs from 9:00am-8:00pm and Fri-Sat from 9:00am-9:00pm.

What kind of items are for sale at Bookmans?

Bookmans offers a HUGE selection of books, movies, video games, musical instruments, toys, journals, vinyl, and housewares.

Are the prices good at Bookmans?

Absolutely! You can also bring in your own books, movies, video games, and instruments to sell in exchange for cash or trade credit. Trade credit is good at all stores and never expires.

Is there a Children’s Area at Bookmans?

Yes! All locations are super kid-friendly and feature a great section just for the kids. Be sure to check the website for storytimes, themed parties, and other events - offered weekly.

Bookmans also offers a FREE Kids Club. Any child (birth to age 12) can sign up to receive a 10% discount every time they shop...plus a $10 gift certificate on his/her birthday!

Wait! There's more! Any child who reads 10 books and writes a short report about each can pick out 1 FREE book!

Is Bookmans a good place for teens?

Yes! You'll find the latest YA fiction and non-fiction titles, video games, and more. There are often events designed specifically for young adults. 13 to 17-year-old customers can also sign up for 1317 to receive a 15% in-store discount and a $15 birthday gift certificate.

I'm a teacher. Are there any discounts at Bookmans?

Bookmans is proud to support education in our community. As such, the stores offer a 20% discount on all purchases for educators (including homeschool parents). Proof is required so please bring in a current ID or other proof to your nearest location.

What about free WiFi?

Bookmans no longer offers free WiFi.

Do any of the locations have a cafe?

None of the stores in Tucson have a cafe. The only one that has an in-store cafe is in Flagstaff.

Are there event spaces or party rooms at any of the locations?

No.

What is the parking situation?

Complimentary visitor parking is available in paved parking lots outside the stores.
