Holiday Nights at Tohono Chul

  • Location: Tohono Chul, 7366 Paseo del Norte, Tucson, AZ 85704
  • Dates: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays | December 6 – December 22
  • Time: 6:00pm-9:00pm
  • Cost: $25/Adult; $10/Child (ages 3-12); $20 for Members; Children 2 and Under are FREE

Celebrate the season at Holiday Nights! Stroll through dazzling, illuminated pathways, enjoy live music from talented local artists, and shop unique, handcrafted gifts from local artisans throughout the Gardens and at the Pavilion’s Merry Market.

Treat yourself to festive snacks and warm drinks from the Garden Bistro, while kids enjoy free crafts and a visit with Santa.

LightsUp! A Festival of Illumination at Tucson Botanical Gardens

  • Location: Tucson Botanical Gardens, 2150 N. Alvernon Way, Tucson
  • Dates: November 28, 2025 through January 11, 2026
  • Time: 6 nights a week from 6:00pm-9:30pm
  • Cost: $21-$23/Adult; $17-$19/Child (ages 4-17); Children under 4 are FREE

LightsUp! A Festival of Illumination is back at Tucson Botanical Gardens. Trees dance under a million lights, tin stars twinkle, luminarias glow in grand chandeliers.

New this year: You will know you’ve arrived at the Gardens’ new entrance when you spot the oversized vine wreaths decorated with holiday lights and festive ornaments! A Butterfly Tree will transform the Pavilion into a magical woodland grotto. The Great Garden Express has a new collection of railroad buildings on display, festooned with teeny tiny lights and wreaths made by the Sonoran Desert Model Builders! Plus, enjoy the new Frida’s Garden by the light of traditional tin luminarias.

Parade of Lights in Downtown Tucson

The Downtown Parade of Lights takes place in beautiful Armory Park neighborhood. The best viewing along the parade route is on 6th Avenue between Broadway and 13th Street or 4th Avenue between 12th Street and 17th Street.

The parade starts at 17th Street and 4th Avenue, heads north on 4th Avenue to 12th Street, west on 12th Street to 6th Avenue, south on 6th Avenue, ending at Armory Park.

Food trucks will be located on 12th Street between Scott & 6th Avenue.

Winterhaven Festival of Lights

  • Location: Winterhaven Neighborhood (near Fort Lowell & Tucson Blvd)
  • Dates: December 13, 2025 - December 27, 2025
  • Time: Every day, 6:00pm-10:00pm
  • Cost: Free | Suggested donation to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona and Festival of Lights infrastructure

Drawing over 200,000 visitors annually, the free, nonprofit-led festival will once again light up the historic Winterhaven neighborhood—with expanded infrastructure, innovative programming, and fresh opportunities to engage with the magic.

Zoo Lights: Holiday Magic at Reid Park Zoo

  • Location: Reid Park Zoo, 3400 Zoo Court, Tucson
  • Date: December 2-23 with Encore Nights December 26-30 and January 2-7
  • Time: 6:00pm-9:00pm
  • Cost: $13 adults (ages 15-61), $11 seniors (ages 62+), $8 children (ages 2-14), Free for ages 0 to 1. Zoo Members receive $3 off Tuesdays-Sundays.

Ready, Set, Glow! ZooLights: Holiday Magic returns with thousands of enchanting lights, mesmerizing light shows, and displays and holly jolly fun for all ages. Stop in for a photo opp at the confection-merry Candyland, share Seasons greetings in the oceans zone, and have a Santa-abulous visit with St. Nick who will be hearing wishes each evening through December 23. Experience falling snow in the Artic Zone, listen to festive music, or savor a hot cup of cocoa from the Zoo Café or carts as you travel through a colorful wild wonderland in this Tucson holiday tradition.
