Cataracts: Diagnosis, Surgery and Intraocular Lens Selection
Brock Bakewell, M.D., FACS, Desert Eye Associates | Wednesday, Oct. 8, 4 p.m.
A cataract is the clouding of the lens in one or both eyes that develops slowly and eventually can impact your eyesight, ultimately requiring surgery to fix it. Surgery for cataracts involves the removal of the clouded lens and replacing it with an intraocular lens (IOL), but not all lenses are the same.
Join Brock Bakewell, M.D., FACS, from Desert Eye Associates, to learn the difference between different IOLs and how to pick the right one for you.
