If God is all-good and all-powerful, why is there evil and suffering in the world? This is not only a challenge made against the God of the Bible by non-believers, but believers also struggle with these issues. This talk will examine the nature of the problem of evil from both biblical and philosophical perspectives. The goal will be to provide intellectual answers for challenges from outside the Christian faith as well as to give guidance for Christian thinking in the church.
