Admission is free of charge and will feature an exciting variety of musical pieces. The concert will include performances by Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Bands as well as the new Beginning and Advance Strings ensembles. This spring, the Advanced Band is part of a consortium of 22 ensembles from across Pima County, including high school and community bands that will perform Sonoran Rivers: A Celebration of Desert Water. This is a new work by local composer Yuanyuan Kay He and poet Alison Hawthorne Deming, inspired by local watershed data.
