Poison Prevention for Caregivers at Kirk-Bear Canyon Library

October 22, 2024 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Free

Accidental poisonings are a common form of injury among children and older adults. A majority of cases occur at home and involve things such as medications and household/personal care products. In this presentation, the Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center will provide information about the poison center's services, factors that can lead to accidental poisonings, and things you can do to prevent poisonings from occurring.

Caregivers are welcome to bring children with them to the talk. There will be a craft table set up for children to play while you participate.
