Ever wonder what happened to Tevye, wife Golde, and his daughters after the curtain came down in Fiddler on the Roof? Finally those decades-old questions will be answered by TEVYE IN NEW YORK! Written and performed by Tom Dugan, this dynamic new play comes to the Berger Performing Arts Center on March 7 and 8, the story follows Tevye as he fights for his piece of the American dream in 1914—from his journey with his daughters across the Atlantic Ocean, through Ellis Island, past “the big green lady,” and into the crowded streets of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Based on the beloved characters of Sholem Aleichem, you will fall in love with Tevye all over again in this funny and poignant one-man show.
