See “The Jungle Book” like you’ve never seen it before.
Adapted by Joseph Robinette, based on the book by Rudyard Kipling. Directed by Mickey Nugent. A lively and humorous family adventure featuring a young Rudyard Kipling sent from his home in Bombay to a British boarding school. His new classmates tease him for being different, but his teachers are kind and encourage him to write. Kipling’s story of Mowgli, the Indian boy raised by caring wolves in the jungles of India with Bagheera, the panther, Baloo, the bear and the menacing tiger Shere Kahn, parallels the boarding school’s residents. Along the way, both young Rudyard and Mowgli learn lessons of strength and understanding.
The show runs for approximately 70 minutes and is family-friendly (especially for elementary age children!).
