friends pima county public library tucson Friends of the Public Library Book Sale (Apr 20 23)The Friends of the Pima County Public Library are having a book sale from April 20 – 23. If you’d like to pick up a few books (or several) and support your public library, don’t miss this great sale! You’ll find some of the best-priced used books in town.

The books are a mix of discards from the library and donated books. You’ll find nonfiction of all kinds such as cookbooks, history, and self-help, as well as fiction for children and adults and some movies and music. There is also a special section for collector’s items. The books are well-organized and each category is labeled, so it is easy to find what you are looking for.

If you want the best prices, then wait until Sunday when most items are half off – or Monday when the books are $5 per bag. Be aware that many of the best books may be gone by then. The children’s section is often practically cleared out by the end of the sale.
