While the kids are away, the grown-ups will play! The Children’s Museum Tucson will transform into a sensational soiree on Friday, November 2, 2012 starting at 6:30pm for An Evening of Play fundraiser, benefitting the Museum.
Guests will delight in the Museum’s transformed exhibits and courtyard to enjoy a sensory experience of live music and artistic performances. Playfully inspired libations and childhood favorites with grown-up twists from Tucson’s most creative chefs will also make for flavorful explorations. This event also highlights the Museum’s changes in the past year, which include over $600,000 invested in new exhibits.
Restaurants represented at the event include Hub, Lodge on the Desert, Downtown Kitchen & Cocktails, El Charro, Maynards, 47 Scott, and more.
Entertainment for the evening will feature Tesoro, Jovert Steel Drum Band, Odaiko Sonora, Jeff Gubric, The Parasol Project, The Physics Factory, glitter tattoos, flip book booth, and a pocket magician.
Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets early before the event sells out.
