For all corn mazes, it is a good idea to plan ahead:

  1. Wear closed-toe shoes: tennis shoes, hiking boots, or cowboy boots.
  2. Bring water bottles for every person in your party.
  3. Go to the restroom before entering the maze.
  4. If you have a baby or toddler in your party, consider bringing an all-terrain stroller to give your back and arms a break.
  5. The sun can still be intense in Tucson in September and October. Slather on sunscreen, wear light layers, and put on a sun hat for added protection.
  6. Visit on a weekday or EARLY on a weekend if you are seeking a quieter and less crowded experience.

Corn Maze at Apple Annie's

Corn Maze Near Tucson Apple Annies Willcox | Corn Mazes In or Near Tucson

Apple Annie’s Orchard, a four-generation family farm and agritourism destination in Willcox, is home to Arizona's largest corn maze!

Visitors can meander along dirt paths through the ripening maize for a brief stroll or a couple of hours, immersed in nature and art. Three levels of difficulty across 12.5 acres can be completed in 10, 30, or 45 minutes.

“Family and friends sometimes enjoy the maze together, sometimes turn it into a race – can mom and dad beat the kids to the finish line?” Mandy Kirkendall (daughter of farm founders Annie and John Holcomb) says, “Either way, it’s a fun time to be had as you wind your way through many twists and turns of corn as you try to find your way out.”

  • DATES: Open daily; Last Weekend of September-October 31
