Santa Landing. Pima Air & Space Museum, 6000 E. Valencia Rd., Tucson. 8:30am-2:00pm. The museum opens at 8:30am and Santa is expected to land by helicopter at 10:45am. Flight Grill will be offering a breakfast buffet from 8:30-10:30am, as well as lunch specials. There will be Holiday art and crafts for the kids. $15.50 for adults; $12.25 for Pima County residents and seniors; $9 for children; children 6 and under are free.

A Southwest Nutcracker. Tucson Convention Center Music Hall, 260 S. Church Ave., Tucson. 2:00pm AND 7:30pm. “This original, full-length classical ballet translates the traditional Nutcracker to Tucson in the 1880s, complete with coyotes, cavalry, and rattlesnakes. Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” The Great American Playhouse, 13005 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson. 6:00pm. “The classic holiday tale. Three ghosts take penny-pinching Scrooge on an eye-opening journey, and he discovers the true meaning of Christmas.” $17.95/adults; $15.95 for seniors, military, students; $7.95 for children 12 and under.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 24, 2013 [CHRISTMAS EVE]

Gingerbread Teepee Family Experience. The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, 15000 N. Secret Springs Dr., Marana. 2:00pm-4:00pm. Family members will build and decorate their own gingerbread teepee. Cookies and hot chocolate will be provided. $30/person.
