Be a Story Town Volunteer at Joel D. Valdez Main Library (Nov 3)

story town volunteer Be a Story Town Volunteer at Joel D. Valdez Main Library (Nov 3) Story Town is a day long family literacy event which will take place on November 3, 2012 on the Jacomé Plaza in front of the Joel D. Valdez Main Library. The ninth annual Story Town is designed to share the joy of books and reading with children birth to 5 and their families and is a collaborative celebration with Make Way for Books and the Pima County Public Library.

Volunteers are needed to greet families, assist with a variety of activities, dress up in character costumes (how fun is that?), and provide directions to events. Interested volunteers may contact Georgia Taylor at Quincie Douglas Branch Library at 520-594-5335 or via email at [email protected] by October 15.
